The Adventure Began!

My first week was full of surprises and excitement. For me, it was the first time in my life to fly alone and to go to Southeast Asia. For me, participating in this project meant more than a teaching internship; it was the beginning of an adventure.

The reason I wanted to participate in this project was not only to acquire skills as a teacher. I majored in education at university, and I had always wanted to see with my own eyes educational sites outside of Japan, and I was also looking for some kind of culture-shock to broaden my horizons.

After my coordinators dropped me off at Khon Kaen University, I was able to meet the other sea teachers who had arrived earlier.

I went to sleep excited about the month of life at Khon Kaen University that was about to begin.
