The best part of this program for me was that I was with SEA Teachers from other countries.
It meant a lot to me to meet them and I treasure our time together.
We went to night markets and shopping on holidays and after school, and sometimes just talked for hours by the lake.
I learned a lot about their culture and their different values from my own. It was really fun and broadened my interest in the world.
Also, they made me realize that Japanese culture is more famous than I thought and that Japanese history has had a greater influence on other countries than I had realized.
I felt I needed to deepen my understanding of Japanese history and culture.
I now believe that the most important thing in working in an international environment is to understand my own culture and history and to take responsibility for them.
I am truly grateful to have met them and I can't wait to see them again someday.
